“In a world with more than seven billion people, each of us is a drop in the bucket. But with enough drops, we can fill any bucket.”
David Susuki
With the first news of the morning I felt a heightened anxiety.
I listened more intently than ever to the newest alarm about climate change:
“The world’s people face “untold suffering due to the climate crisis” unless there are major transformations to global society, according to a stark warning from more than 11,000 scientists.”
And, I find it sad that the US has withdrawn from the Paris Agreement whose central aim is to strengthen the global response to the threat of climate change.
I feel like I’ve been awake to climate change for awhile now, and yet with the heightened urgency that is all over the news, I feel a greater call to increased action!
