What It Takes to RYS!

“All that we are is the result of what we have thought.
If a man speaks or acts with an evil thought, pain follows him.
If a man speaks or acts with a pure thought, happiness follows him, like a shadow that never leaves him.”
– The Buddha

We’ve recently arrived home from the land,
“Where humans awake and know their divinity.”
Yes! That would be Teotihuacan.

For over 25 years I’ve returned each year to this sacred playground that shakes us down to deeper truths. The transformation that occurs in the light of Teotihuacan illuminates the ways we have been dreaming our life. New awareness shines through to transform limitations.

I’m continually blown away by the sincerity, honesty and vulnerability that you magnificent humans bring forth on these big heart journeys.

What I continue to recognize is that most everyone earnestly wants:

  • Relief from the shackles of beliefs and mental-emotional patterns that cause them to suffer.
  • Freedom from feeling like a victim of their circumstances.
  • Greater heart and harmony in their relationships.
  • Release from the ways they go against themselves.
  • Play and laughter.
  • Real connection inside and others.

If you too resonate with these desires and you aren’t feeling it, know that you can break into these freedoms for yourself.

What does it take?

Increase Your Awareness as to how you are dreaming your life. Uncover the beliefs and habits that limit you and cause you to suffer needlessly.

Engage Your Warrior’s Will to courageously hone in on those safety strategies that restrict your honesty, openness and vulnerability and keep you from a loving relationship with yourself and others.

Commit to Discipline in a world where accumulation, recognition and staying safe occupy the majority, it takes your   commitment to part from the herd and dream your life with heart and meaning.

“Discipline means guiding one’s energy properly in three directions: mind, action, and speech. Discipline does not mean arresting oneself, repressing oneself, suppressing oneself, or torturing oneself. It means learning to guide the energies that one has and learning to be positive in life. Negativity does not help. It is like slow poison. But positive thinking is like nectar,
and it definitely helps.” – Swami Rama
